Halo, Dit is Struck

Halo, Dit is Struck from Jeramy Morrill on Vimeo.

This is a video I scripted / directed for Struck showcasing our office and people as part of a client pitch to adidas. It is all one continuous take, and it didn’t take as many tries as you’d think.

Damon on Palin

Matt Damon does what the 24 hour news networks can’t. Have a lucid prescient thought about something vitally important.

Beware the used car ambush

We recently finished up a project for GM called Used Car Ambush. Where a user punks potential used car sellers. Pretty funny site. And on the technical side we did some pretty rad stuff with motion controll cameras to get all the seamless transitions. Check it out nerds…

What's your carfun footprint?

We (Struck) just launched The Mini Carfun Calculator . Check out your car and see how fun and green it is. Also note the 3d that Adam and I did, and the design that Jon and I did.

This site actually gets delivered in whole inside banners all across the intertubes. Maybe later I’ll post some making of shiz.

It's In The Wind

Shyamalan’s career is what. I just went and saw The Happening. And here’s a little tip “If you call your movie The Happening, something should *#@!ing happen! Seriously…”

Now don’t get me wrong I’m not a Shyamalan hater or anything. I really liked The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, and Signs, but everything, and I mean everything he has done after that has been worse and worse. Even Paul Giamatti couldn’t save LITW. But with The Happening, there wasn’t an actor in it to even attempt a save. Mark Wahlberg was just plain weird in this. I’m not sure what direction he was given, but it seems like it was. “Hmmm… I really liked that but could you pitch your voice higher like you are constantly talking to a puppy? Also mention science more, you are a science teacher and they always mention science.” BTW you’ll learn that math teachers always mention math too. Oh And that people who don’t like to share their feelings with others sure love to talk about the fact that they don’t like to share their feelings.

Building a fixie part 0 continued

I went ahead and purchased a frame last week. I got the Surly Steamroller. But I totally have to paint it. It only come in that poop brown and that is not happening. I need to decide on the rest of my components and get them ordered. Though I think my first step is going to be paint. I’m a little undecided on the scheme.

I thought black, white and hot-pink might be rad, maybe even do a zebra pattern in hot-pink or white. Either that or green with white rims and some thick black stripes running down the bars. I dunno I may have to mock it up.

Also I’m pretty sure I’m going to get these dp18s laced to formulas The white ones are the devils heat.
